***It's not the thing that's important to God, it's you that's important. Likewise, He wants to be more than anything to you as well. Once He has your heart, there is no good thing He will withhold from you.***
Benefits of a surrendered life - when you allow God to do the work in you :
2Chronicles 34:1-3
Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father
- God is going to reveal a standard, your life is about to be a full revelation, the benefits of a called life & surrendered life
- You can't be called without surrendering
- Josiah was looking for the God of his father; how God has been for his son to come up, to reach out of, come into the same type of experience that his father had.
**We serve a mighty God and there's so much more in Him**
It's one thing to let God remove the issues of our heart, it's another to LET GOD DO WHAT HE WANTS THROUGH YOU
**I'M AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO BE GREAT IN MY LIFE**
- There's greatness in the horizon for the remnant where God is being revealed.
- People have such a limited grasp of who God is. He's not really highly esteemed as He ought to be, primarily because how often have we made ourselves available, because our idealogy's or religion getting in the way or perceptions of what God wants to do. So when God comes talking what He wants to do, then we got all these issues that prevent Him. But for the willing, for the least likely, for those who have surrendered their selves and said "I'm not living for myself but I'm living for You Lord. Lord be high and lifted up in my life.", the Lord is saying to you that He's going to make a new standard and in that standard, people are going to know. "I want to know the God of your life." So what God is going to do to you is going to reveal the potential of what it could be like for someone else. What God will do in your life will clear up the misunderstanding just by what He does in your life.
****Which part of the bible is void now? Which part of it should we do away with? -NONE OF IT!
Then why would you listen to someone who says make void My Word.
If you are saying what who God is not and what He won't do, then you got to be sure that it must be something that is not contained in the Bible, because if you do that, then you're making void.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2
“And [Ex. 15:26; 23:22; Lev. 26:3; Isa. 55:2]if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you ch. 26:19high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and ver. 15; Zech. 1:6overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.
God is heavy-handed, even a light touch will bless you so much and fill you so much.
When the Lord purposes to do something good for your life, He does it and He doesn't play around because it relates to His glory. It's a testimony for all to see, to know Him
This is a testimony of who I AM, what I will want, what the potential is for those who follow Me. But people have made doctrines out of the 'not right now' . Some people sadly are for the stuffs and not with a relationship with God.
THERE'S NO VALUE TO ANYTHING WHEN YOU'RE OUTSIDE OF GOD. THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS LIFE. You won't find it in money, in houses, in cars. JESUS IS THE LIFE. And how will He not through Him, through Christ freely give you all things. So it's not about the thing, IT'S ABOUT YOU AND HIM, WHO YOU ARE TOGETHER.
The time has arisen that people will seek the God you serve because God will purpose in your life to the point that people will seek Him.
When God creates a standard, that is - this is the potential of your relationship with God. And the same way God has been faithful to me, my life is revealing that He'll be that faithful to you. My life is revealing that potential. God is raising up a remnant of those who He will do mighty and great exploits through mighty works.
Josiah said, I'm looking for the God of David, because God was with my father David is different than I see Him in everybody else's life. And I want to experience.
When Jesus came, He did not give one person sickness, but He did remove it. When you really come to Jesus, He'll correct your theology, your misnomers, all your presumptions. That's why there are so many people who encounter Jesus and not know it. The Pharisees thought they knew God all day. Jesus came and revealed a standard. Jesus said, "All that I've done, you'll do it more."
Don't tell me who God is not if I can see Him in the Bible being it.
