8/13/2020 Time to get persuaded (Prophetic Drive Time)

God says, I change what's outside of you by what's on the inside of you, situations outside or around you based upon what's on the inside of you. What's possible is only limited by your persuasion. We go to the Lord and want him to do a whole lot of things and we're asking and asking and the Lord says "I work in accordance to your persuasion."

Mark 9:23 > About the father who asked Jesus to cast out the devil in his child. Jesus said that it's not about His ability but it's about your persuasion "If you can? All things are possible for one who believes!"

Mark 9:17-23
17 one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.

18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”
19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.”
20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.
21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.
22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

* If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes

***BELIEVE (PISTEUO) - to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to place confidence in of the thing believed

* Time to get persuaded

* Simple process with regard to kingdom dynamics - Jesus said, you only need to believe!

* The miracles that you're petitioning God for are actually already yours;

What's already yours are only hindered by your persuasion. Lord says, I know you want it, but I'm looking inside of you for your persuasion. Even when you say, I prayed to the Lord and He answered my prayers like for instance, I needed money to pay rent or get a job or this or that - the Lord said, I didn't answer you from outside of you. I answered your prayer from within you but it manifested outside of you. It wasn't the person or people who said Yes. It was the fact that God said yes. He answered you from within. Everything that you need in your life, comes from your persuasion and interaction with God which means - within, so even when you have an external situation or force coming against you. In Mark 9:23- the son's father was making a petition to the Lord, because of an external issue. He wasn't the one possessed by the devil, it was his son - the external issue. The external issue can be addressed by what's going on in the inside of the father who petitioned.

* I want God to bless me, but I'm persuaded that I'm poor, persuaded no good. I'm waiting on God to do something new instead of tapping into what's already established so I need some devils to get out of my life. The Lord is able to work in concert with your persuasion and you're saying, the Lord let me down or the Lord failed me, NO! What failed you was your lack of persuasion. Now you're mad at God for what you refused to believe. But God says, I work in conjunction with your persuasion. God says, I want you to understand the determination to see the "YES AND AMEN" manifest in your life.

2 Corinthians 1:19-20
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

* PROMISE (EPANGELIA) - assurance, pledge, a promise of good / blessings
* All the good that God has purposed for your life, it's already YES!!!

* We start off as little children and we must mature, we must grow. Can you imagine when your child is one year old (or kids walking before 1 year old) they start to walk at an average of 1 year old but if they're still crawling at 5 or 10, then you as a parent didn't sufficiently challenged them to stand on their feet. And it was different when you were crawling but if the Lord didn't challenged you to stand up and walk, you'll still be crawling and so the Lord has done things in our lives when we were just still fragile and we couldn't and we were just crawling. And then as we start to walk, we're like "This is uncomfortable, this is not natural, this is something different" - it doesn't mean I'm outside of God, don't mean I'm not loved, because He's saying stand up now. Now walk to me, come to me - like what you do to your kids- they're wobbling towards you, sometimes they fall down and what you do "That's alright". The only problem is that sometimes during our walk, there has not been people to come and reveal the heart of the Father to you saying "That's alright or get back up" instead they said "Oh, look at you, you fell down, you stumbled, you didn't do right." That's not the heart of the Father. The Father comes and says, "You're alright. You got this. Stand up and keep walking."
But that would be a form of abuse and a lack of love if you allowed your child, if you never challenged your child until they're 10 yrs. old. You have just kept them from the potential, all to make them feel good and not challenge them. Sometimes we look at the change in the dynamics between us and God in terms of why does it seem like that- the dynamic is changing and God is demanding more from me. It's not He's demanding something that you can't give. He's trying to connect you to greatness. He's trying to connect you to power, to your potential. And your potential comes within Christ so He'll say "Stand up!" When you've never stood before, He'll say, "Come to me." Like, "Lord, this is now, I gotta just believe." I didn't have to just believe before. It didn't matter what my persuasion was before but instead of realizing that God was leading you into greatness or into something abundant, or into something good. Some people throw tantrums, got mad at or offended at God, "He didn't just answer my prayer like He used to".
That's why it's dangerous to have the wrong people at your corner, because the wrong people will always encourage you to be misunderstood - encourage you to be in your feelings instead of being in righteousness or instead of being in truth.

God wants to do good through you. As long as you're a child, you can't access some of the blessings and the things that I have for you. I have more for you but it requires your maturing.

* There's a cost - standing in your feelings, throwing tantrums, it's gonna cost you - your tomorrow, your potential. It's gonna cost you what God has for you. You will miss out because you're not punishing God, you're punishing yourself. Because God is not doing anything criminal to you. He's not doing anything harm to you. He is doing what any responsible parent would do - it is challenge their child to grow. Unless you challenge your child to stand, they'll never discover how to run, they'll never know the thrill or the benefits or the blessing is to run. Unless you challenge them to talk, they'll never discover the benefits of praise, of prayer. And so it wasn't a cruel thing, that the Lord says, "Look, I want you to believe this time."

* At the height of your maturity, what you learn to do / discover is "I work in you to work through you and around you." The partnership. "God works in me to work through me." He works through my persuasion. And He said, "I only need you to bring your faith and persuasion to the table and I'll do the rest, but I wanna partner with your belief, to bring you into the impossible. To bring you into that realm where you see there's no limitations on you."  The limitations are only crafted by your history, by people around you, by your environment, by the enemy.

* This is so significant - the greatest tactic the enemy has or the greatest success the enemy had against you, comes from the mind. From, 'what you can't do', 'who you're not', 'what God is not', 'God doesn't love you', and when people get persuaded that God don't love them, they started to or become broken because they're trying to figure out "How do I get God to love me?" When in actuality, you become persuaded on a lie and your life unraveled because of the persuasion and the only thing the enemy had to do was convince you of something that wasn't biblically true or sound. Asking how do you get out of that rut - the same way you got into it. You got into that rut believing a lie, you get out of that believing the TRUTH. I gotta get persuaded that I'm loved by God. Why? Because the truth is it's hard for you to see just how much the Lord loves you even though He shows you everyday. God's been showing you everyday. You don't realize that the Lord is as close to you as His breath. But you're not giving God anything to work with. The comforter is called the Spirit of Truth.

You got to start interjecting some truth into your midst to see God appear. The Holy Spirit will come because He's the Spirit of truth and truth summons Him. So when you start speaking something truth, the Holy Spirit will pop up and you'll be able to feel Him. Why? Because the truth is being poured out and you've created an environment and if there's no perversion in your heart. Because a lot of people can't stomach TRUTH. So truth can come and be an offense to some people, not because there's a problem with truth, but because truth is messing with their dynamics. It's easy when you can blame somebody else.

* God wants the YES, His YES to touch you today. He wants the YES of His promises to touch you, but you got to become persuaded that you're loved by God.

* Has the truth and your feelings ever been conflict?

* God is trying to persuade you of His intention, of His purpose, of His thoughts, His plan for your life. But simultaneously, the enemy is working to persuade you as well. So now it comes down to whose report are you going to believe.

* Jesus is the bread of life. The Lord doesn't force feed anybody but He does say, "Come to Me when you're thirsty" and some people ain't willing to change and they haven't got quite hungry enough. So you got to get persuaded on the things because there's a YES associated with you.

* The Spirit of truth won't touch a lie. Get out of your feelings!

* There's a deep desire from God. He wants to connect you to a YES. He wants you to connect to the YES, that's not that He's given, but that He already gave. The Lord is not trying to connect you to a YES that is pending or YES that's coming or on the way. He wants you to connect to a YES that's pre-existing. The YES is already there, and your persuasion is gonna allow the Lord to bring you into it and He's gonna work in you. So regardless of what's going on around you or how you feel, the Lord says, "I want to work through you and around you."
