* How many of you understand that God is a real person? Oftentimes, we carry this notion that He's this deity in the sky. That either becomes the struggle or a hindrance to our ability to relate to Him.
* God is a real person. Oftentimes we relate to Him like He's the deity in the sky and in that it can be hard to try to perceive our own personal interaction with God, and really to try to understand Him as a person.
* What kind of person forgives you of all of your sins? Even though the sins go against the person that's doing the forgiving. What kind of person is there for you, watches over you, picks you up when you're down, provides for you? What kind of person? What kind of friend is Jesus to you? What kind of friend has He been?
* Oftentimes people tend to forget who God is. They don't personalize everything that God does for their life. And when we don't remember or we don't personalize the person of Jesus Christ, then it can be hard to have a real personal relationship.
* Our hearts become flowers and our hearts open up to God when we allow our hearts to come under the light of God. See, you can talk to God and pray to God from your awareness and understanding that He is. But it's different to have a heart open to God, what that does, a heart open to God allowing your heart to bloom in the presence of God, means you become sensitive, trusting, vulnerable. And what affects our intimacy is not knowing that He's a real person. And so oftentimes people think that God is mad at them, God don't love them. What it does is hardening your heart to God, but it's closing your heart to God and so you can't hear God when He's speaking to you. You can't hear His approval of you, you can't hear His declarations of love. You're not perceptive or discerning of the things that He does for you everyday. The only thing that speaks the loudest are the things that He hasn't done or the things that you want. So it becomes your dialogue with Him, "Ok Lord, this is what I want, this is what I need", but at the same time carrying a warped perspective of who He is because you haven't allowed His faithfulness to you to influence you on the kind of actual person that He is. And He wants it to be personal with you.
* Some people are having difficulty with the transition, of the stagnation of the church. And because people have gone around and had these kind of, in some cases, barren or sterile relationship with the Lord. One of the things He said in this conversation that I have, is what you really see going on in the life of the believers (because the church has been under a lot of judgment - judgment begins at the house of the Lord) but what's happening is now the Lord is contending, He is waging war on erroneous mindsets. So whoever is desiring the closeness that the Lord is desiring , whoever will allow the Lord to be close to them, whoever will allow it, God is pursuing you. He is waging war on the erroneous mindsets that keep you on the outskirts. Because they keep you on the outskirts, they affect the ability of your soul to prosper.
3John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
* There are some people who are at that stage where there's so much conflict, so much contention, and there's so much frustration because they want the thing so bad that they have entered into full blown contention with God. Because what they don't understand is that their outward prosperity is connected to their soul prosperity. The Lord is waging war against mindsets, really for all of us that have really kept us out of the place that He is waiting for us at. The Lord is right there waiting for us. He's waging war against the mindsets that we're all been under that have kept us out of the proximity and closeness that He desires to have with us. Because when we prosper on the inside, what it does is it causes you to prosper.
* At the David vs. Goliath battle, there were two anointed men of God. Saul was there too, but Saul was one who had mastered the art of considering himself. David showed up with a memory of God, considering God. And that allowed David to take land, to have victories that Saul could only dream of. Remember when they sing songs about David and Saul - Saul killed his thousands but David killed his ten thousands. When you begin to set God or consider the One who forgave you or consider Him as a real person, your heart's going to open up to God. As you open up to Him, you begin to perceive Him in ways that you've never lone in. It's going to cause your soul to prosper and from that place of prospering in your soul, it's going to begin to invade your life.
* Because there's two dynamics that all of you here that God has manifested Himself to you. One is through His word. So you can look to the cross of Jesus Christ to find out what kind of person Jesus is - that He would die on the cross for you who did not deserve it. You also have a witness of Him invading your personal life, showing you what kind of person He's been for you. What kind of person forgives you for all that you did, and treat you like it never happened? That's the person. Because when you consider that, this person forgave me of all these things, now you're coming into the knowledge of who He is. Now, you're opening up to come into the understanding of who He is for you. You're about to go beyond. The Lord is waging an assault on empty rhetoric. Everybody's gonna talk a good game, but the remnant are going to walk in it. There's many people who can talk it. But the Lord says "I'm raising up a people who will know My name and it's these who will do great exploits"
* Remember in the gospel of John, how the Lord kept telling His disciples - "You know Me. If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father" and the struggle was their mindset not their experience with Jesus. And the Lord was like, "What are you doing? You know Me!" Take into account all that I've been for you, around you and all that I've demonstrated so that you can see who I am. So that it can be personal and when it becomes personal, and you begin to really understand that the things that have been on display in your presence, in your midst, or to you personally, will become the very things that fuel your ministry, your walk with Christ. Because the Lord wants a love relationship. He's coming back for a bride unspotted. If we are in a place where we are accustomed to releasing this empty rhetoric, but still feeling the barrenness of our empty confession, the Lord wants to be something as solid to you as your hand, because He is. He wants to be as real to you. Because that's going to do something for you, that's going to cause you to fly, that's going to cause you to run and not be weary, that's going to cause you to mount up on wings of eagles, that's going to cause you to do great exploits.
* How are you ever alone, when the Spirit of the Lord is living on the inside of you? But you haven't grown accustomed to personalizing His touch, personalizing His effect, His movement in your life. And so in a lot of ways we all have misunderstood Him, because we failed to consider Him that this is a real person that's forgiven me. My God, my Father is a real person. But what kind of person is He?
The very issues that some people carry are the very issues that they don't see in Christ.The bible says that "We are transformed by beholding Him". So the very spiritual issues that you are facing, or the inability to produce the fruit that some of you want to produce, the issue is not that you don't have the fruit on the inside but you have failed to see in the person of Jesus Christ. What you see in Him, you become transformed to the image that you behold in Him.
Your reward is a fullness (Ephesians 3:17-19)
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, Col. 1:23being rooted and grounded in love, 18Eph. 1:18may be able to comprehend with all the saints Rom. 8:39what is the width and length and depth and height— 19to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled Eph. 1:23with all the fullness of God.
There's a fullness of God that He's not restraining but that's automatically restrained from our inability to personalize and see. And what we can't see in Jesus, we can't become. What we can't see in Jesus, we can't fall in love with.
* This is how David became a man after God's own heart, how he also became king, how he also became a man of great exploits. He lived based upon his consideration of God. How he considered God, how he thought of who God was. Some of you your hindrances come from your lack of considering the real person of Jesus Christ and so you're left with a regurgitated misinformed declaration by people who haven't considered themselves of who God is, even though God showed up to your doorstep personally- when He came and got you out of that pit. You should have been saying, what kind of person would bring me out of the pit. And when you really get into Christ, you find out you don't have to hide none of your flaws, means for Him to come for the lost, you have to indeed be lost, you can't pretend to be found and the Saver find you. Like, Lord I was out of my mind, I was a wreck, I was nothing and then You came and found me. But what kind of person looks for somebody like me. What kind of person is on the hunt for the worthless. Let who Jesus is begin to tell you about Himself. Let Him begin to teach you what love really is. What kind of person would love on me when I couldn't love myself. Would send words to encourage me. Some of you have blocked Jesus altogether, because He shows up and calls you His beloved but since how you see yourself doesn't congeal with how Jesus is talking, you shut Him down and grabbed hold of oppression. Jesus wants to show you who He is, and He wants you to know exactly the kind of person He is. He wants to fill your heart with the revelation and knowledge of Himself. What kind of person would forgive you like that. What kind of person loves you, who came to your aid when you were in need.
* There are great many things on the land right now, great judgment, great exposure, a great struggle, warfare, it's intense. But there's also at the very same time, as all these other things that are great happening, a great opportunity to know the Lord. It's the greatest opportunity that you have in your life, because to truly be in the end times means that the Lord is trying to know a people that He does not want to utter the words "I don't know you" so He's fighting and contending with all of those things- with all of those erroneous thoughts and mindsets. He's warring with what's keeping you from intimacy, understanding, relationship and knowledge with Him. Not knowledge of Him or knowledge at Him but the intimacy, the unity. What kind of person of He is to you.
* What He reveals to me in His word or personally- those things are supposed to live in us. I'm supposed to take in it and they're supposed to become part of my understanding.
The Lord says, "There's more of Me, I want you to see Me."
Do like David did - "What kind of God puts the stars in perfect alignment, arrangement. What a mighty God. What kind of God is able". And when he saw the power of God, he was able to benefit from the power of God. David's strength wasn't because he's super skilled. It was the fact that God was with him. God gave him the wisdom, God taught his hands how. It's always about God's love and how merciful, how kind, how wise He was. IT WAS ALL ABOUT WHO GOD WAS. And that's how the Lord wants to structure your life. But in order for it to become personal, something that you can personally benefit from, every day and in every situation, you got to see Him.
* For those of you who were really able to grasp this word, and really implement this word, there's a couple of things that's gonna happen. One, your heart is gonna bloom before God under the light of God's love as you consider Him as a real person and to understand what kind of friend you have in Jesus. As you begin to see who He is for you, you begin to see yourself in the capacity of great exploits, in the capacity of being loved, in the capacity of being healed, in the capacity of being free, in the capacity to be able to move forward and nothing can stand before you because of the Friend, the Brother, the King, the God, the Savior who is with you.
* When you know the person of Jesus, He also gives you a power to stay on the right track. Love is an amazing adhesive. If you can do it in love, you can do it for life. Love will hold you in place. We love because He first loved us. That's the beginning of your walk, of your relationship, your ministry, is who God is to you. It begins with discovering His love for you, His love for you will bring you in and it will stimulate your love for Him as you see Him. Lord, You are amazing and I'm falling in love with the person of Jesus Christ.
* The Lord is contending for this, He is contending for your heart, He's contending for your friendship, He's going to war at the things with the things that have kept you from the depth of His love. Anything that's been restraining you especially those of you who want to be in this place with God, the Lord is waging war on the mindsets, the thoughts, the religious ideologies, that kept you separated from the truth and kept you from experiencing Him. Some of you, you're gonna hear God so clear, the sensitivity to God, it's gonna be so palpable. What He's gonna bring you into is the knowing - "Come on in here, why? because I know you". People don't want to talk about that, they want to prioritize what they do, how many devils they cast out and the mighty works that they're doing, they want to prioritize their anointing, their calling, the building - the Lord doesn't prioritize any of that. Because the bible says there will be many and He doesn't want it to be any of you. He doesn't want it to be any of you. so He's going to war because He will not take pleasure in those words "Depart from Me" He will take no pleasure so He is coming after and He's letting you know "I'm a real person"
