You can always tell who a person is. When a man finds a key to success, if he really loves you, he'll come back and share the information of how he got there. But a deceitful man will tell you - 'You can't come up here where I am. You got to stay down there'. He will hide the keys. He will hide the secrets, so that you won't be free. He will be the only one enjoying that freedom and tell you it's impossible for you.
The Lord put something great in you but if you believed that the forces of evil are greater than the forces of favor, then you've already submitted yourself to deception and given permission to rule over your life. Favor is a weapon against all enemies and all desires. God's favor is a weapon and it can't stop you.
Psalm 5:12
For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.
As a shield against oppression or the enemy.
If you only believed in your favor like you believed in your victimization, you would see what God would be able to do in your life. You would see the hand of God move in your life and you would be able to see that there's no force greater than the God who was on your side, if you only believed in God's favor than the enemy's power. But so many of God's children are drunk with the fear of the enemy. The only thing that you should be drunk off is the fear of the Lord. You were made to believe the deception that your enemies against you were greater than the God who was for you - NO ONE BENEFITS IN DECEPTION.
Psalm 90:17
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!
Which means when I put my hands to something, the favor of God will establish it regardless of whether or what you see around.
No one benefits from deception, that's why the Lord got to bring in the truth, to set you free.
Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Psalm 30:5
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning
The worst place for you to be is exactly where the enemy wants you.
It's important that we have the stance that we really believe in the favor of God. It is a weapon. And if it wasn't a weapon, the enemy wouldn't work so hard to try to get you to discount or devalue it and to believe in his ability to destroy, more than God's power to keep, prevent and protect.
Isaiah 63:12-14
Who led them by the right hand of Moses,
With His glorious arm,
Dividing the water before them
To make for Himself an everlasting name,
Who led them through the deep,
As a horse in the wilderness,
That they might not stumble?”
As a beast goes down into the valley,
And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest,
So You lead Your people,
To make Yourself a glorious name.
This is consistent with who He is. He takes a group of people to make Himself famous. When the world gets to the point where they seem like they forgot about God, forgot who He was, He will take a group of people to demonstrate that, to make Himself famous. So that you will know, so that there'll be evidence of, in the land, that our God is the one true God. And He's gonna make His name famous through you.
