9/21/2020 WORLD WAR ME Part 13 - In my feelings (Redefined TV)

 2 Samuel 6:12-17
Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.

One of the words places you can live is in your feelings. Our feelings could serve as well when we mastered them. But our feelings can produce hell when they have mastered us.

Anytime we live in our feelings rest assured the devil will do everything he can to become our mailman so that he can continuously and intentionally send us packages that have been shipped by hell to get us engage in self sabotaging behavior, he's after your joy. When is the last time you had joy? He wants to activate and agitate impulsive behavior, he wants us to respond with reaction, not control. He knows he can't stop God from blessing them, but if he can get them to be reactive to the storm (discredit your character). Your gift makes room but your character makes residence.

Discredit your character - they'll never have the ear of the audience they're trying to reach because God will forgive you but people don't/

This is why it's dangerous for us to walk around with untreated wounds. When we try to hide our trauma, the enemy knows about that trauma and that trauma will become his button so anytime you get close to doing something that gives God glory, he's going to push that button; he wants you to quit.

Many times we quit is because we don't see the return.

The return on our investment of energy and effort that we have to put in something or on someone and we have our own deadline on when this should have been transformative. Could it be why your anxiety is so high due to all of your 'by now's' and then we start entertaining the language of 'quit'.

Even though you think you have valid reasons to quit, that doesn't mean you have the right to quit because you could be right on the brink of answered prayer / breakthrough / miracle. You don't know how close you are.  You don't know when your due season is due.

Numbers 20:6-11
Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said to Moses, “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” So Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence, just as he commanded him. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.

A lot of people think because the water is flowing, we're (God & them) cool. A lot of ministries, just because the people are coming, we cool. But you living in your feelings cause for you to behave some type of way where you and God have some type of issue, where God's like, "because you didn't honor Me in the sight of these people, you will not go into the promised land", because you're mistaken, the waters flowing as though you're obedient.

Numbers 14:10-20 >> God wants to remove the Israelites

Moses had an anger problem. God was saying, let me remove them now so they won't agitate a nature in you that can cause for you to disqualify yourself.

Do you trust God when He removes someone for your life in your 14th chapter? Because He knows what's going to happen in your 20th chapter. This is a person that if you keep them around will agitate your lust / bitterness, so God removes them now.

Joylessness - You're blessed but doesn't feel like it.

Desired support is a trap. Anytime you're looking for their approval than heaven's endorsement, this puts me in a position where I'm questioning the effectiveness of my gift vs carrying out the obedience for my gift.

Whenever God calls you, it always comes with separation. I cannot heal in the same place I got sick.

Everything that has great power is followed by a great sound. Now it makes sense why the devil wants you to be quiet.

David was wearing a linen ephod - David didn't care about the title or position, he cared more of the presence of the One who've given him the position.

When we care more about the presentation vs the presence. When we care more about the position vs the position Giver. IT EXPOSES OUR HEARTS ARE DRIFTING.

What God is about to do in your life, you can't afford to have just a spark. Before God could shift you for what's coming, I have to address the minimal fire that's burning.

God is trying to shift you - He's trying to shift your priorities, from being One that just fits in your schedule, to now where everything revolves around Him. Because it is not conducive with your relationship with Him, it doesn't need to be a part of my schedule.

God doesn't just call you by name, He calls you by assignment. That's why, I believe many times God will change people's name. Abram > Abraham; Simon > Peter

Anointing Oil - when you are anointed, this is your divine superpower, your supernatural strength for your particular assignment. God wants to anoint you because there's a work that you have to do but you have to be able to hear.

Oil makes you slippery - certain things can't grab you when you're slippery.

When you're anointed comes with Attacks, Giants, and Crushing

When attacks come - don't be confused from them, be confirmed by them.

Thieves don't target empty houses, there's something that the enemy is trying to get you to be distracted by so he's attacking you. You hear nothing about Goliath once Saul was ordained king. You hear about Goliath once David is anointed to be king.

One of the signs that you have been anointed is when you wake up giants. Giants don't live in the wilderness, they're in your promise because they're designed to keep you out. Anytime hell puts a giant in your path, it's for intimidation purposes only. Every giant is gonna fall. Giant is there to intimidate you but you're called to be imitators of God. When a giant is present - this is irrefutable evidence where that giant's standing, that's mine.

Imitator of God - if God can do all things and He's a giant slayer, that means I am too

WHAT TAKES OUR JOY:

1. Controlled Outcome Syndrome
Control is an illusion, you really control nothing

2. Scarcity Mentality
You believe God has a shortage

3. Prolonged Tiredness

4. Weighted Relationship

5. Presence Deficiency

6. Unanchored Faith

7. Secret Warfares
