God says, "Grace will show up."
When people are generally confident on tomorrow, they're generally looking at their own strength, because they got the qualifications, experience, the know-how, etc. But when the Lord is taking you to places that you've never been, or heights that you've never been, taking you beyond yourself to reveal Himself, it can be a little daunting to your sense of logic or reason. But one of the things that you learn, and how you will learn when you move, when you do great exploits - THE GRACE WILL MEET YOU.
Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
In the day, generally, the Lord is pouring out enough grace to deal with the matters of the hand. Have you ever been in a situation where you thought it was going to overtake you, but there was enough grace for you to make it through that day? Though it looked insurmountable, you got through it, because the grace came. There's a level of love, kindness, goodness and favor, that's going to meet you there. If you spend a lot of time looking at yourself and exploring, assessing yourself, it's going to be hard for you to determine what's going to meet you because it's going to come - what's going to come and meet you is coming from God, not coming from you. What God has is going to meet you there. And it's going to be that favor, love, kindness, that's going to take you over, that's going to grant you favor in that situation. Look at Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they didn't know that the grace was going to meet them in the furnace.
No doubt that the Lord is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. But the question is, who is He to you? To the wicked, He's wrath, He's vengeance. To the disobedient, He's correction. But to the lost, He's salvation. To My children, I am love, a good Father. To His children, His light is shining upon you. When you can see God in truth, who He is becomes a living experience in your life. It benefits you in ways that you can't even fathom.
What do you think happens for those who reject the so great of love as the work of the cross? It's the ultimate slap in the face. Part of the religious spirit is to hide the face of God from you, so that you can't find Him and benefit from Him and be blessed by Him.
