If you can see your help now, you can benefit from what you see. So pray for it. Pray that God may open your eyes.
People won't have anything to say when we stand before God on judgment day, because when we stand before God, we will know all things.
1) We will know that God is good
2) We will realize that our help was always there
1) We will know that God is good
2) We will realize that our help was always there
HIS GOODNESS STANDS ALONE
We've been conditioned not to see our help, thus we have accusations before God. We've been conditioned to see our problems.
You'll be able to see your help when you know something about God. When you know that He is good, and His thoughts about you, you'll be able to tap in what He has for you. God is good regardless of the situations and circumstances, regardless of the weapons that are launched their assault against us.
Instead of taking responsibility, we have this blame culture. We'll make bad decisions, we'll go off on our living our best life, do our own thing, and then when it goes haywire, we turn to God and say, "Well Lord, You could have stopped me from doing it." Instead of taking responsibility, we shift that blame to God. Even in the fact that we find ourselves going off on our own way. Just like the children of Israel in Jeremiah 29, it's the Lord who says, "I'll still build it again, I'll bring you back, and not only I'll bring you back, but My original thoughts for you still stands."
We're so busy that's why we can't see - the trees, the creation, is speaking to us of God's glory.
Paul and Silas were in the prison for doing God's work, but when they got locked up in the prison, it was unjust, unfair, unrighteous, but they begin to praise, and when they begin to praise, they were able to see the help manifest, because they didn't hold an accusation, or they did not get offended in God. When they begin to praise, God said, "I have no other choice but to manifest My power in the midst of their situation." It's one thing to praise and hope, and that's good, if that's all you got - praise and hope. But there's something else when you begin to praise in confidence. Paul and Silas weren't praising in hope, they were praising out of a place of knowing - I know something about God, regardless of what the prison cells say. And when they begin to praise Him, it could not restrict the matter, the power of God could no longer be contained or restricted.
God is good at His core, that there's few things that can get God to change His mind. It's difficult for God to change His mind about the good things He purposed for you, but even in bad situations, God is so good that you can get Him to change His mind:
- Israel's rebellion (Exodus 32)
- Canaanite woman (Matthew 15:21-28)
When we stand before God on judgment day, you will see what you were unable to see right now, that God was always there for you, and God is good, and that God always love you.
We're so consumed by our own frustrations, unforgiveness, offenses, bitterness, disbelief, hence we could not see our help, so remove these things from you.
