The judgment of God - it comes to set order or render verdicts, but it does not come to help you grow. And so people have been so addicted to these dark musings about God and as a result, their lives are being destroyed because they're not growing in Me. The only way to grow in God is through love, joy, favor, grace, mercy... through the goodness of God. You can't grow in God from constant dark musing - their lives are replicating that dark utterances that they find themselves addicted to. And the Lord is saying, "You need to shake that off of you." He's saying you need to move out of that realm. And you wonder why your life, you can't grow, and things are not working for you, because you're so addicted to the dark utterances, but they're not helping you grow in God. You're wondering, "Where's my favor, where's God's goodness?" And as a result, you're not seeing God's face. Because when God wants to reveal His face, it's kindness, goodness, favor, blessing, love, grace, mercy... You can't find intimacy in My judgment. What people don't understand about correction, is even correction is love. Even correction emanates out of a place of goodness, because the force of the correction helps to prevent you from a more deadlier consequence of destruction.
We are in this world but not of the world, thus our time frame is different, hidden in Christ. When people hear judgment upon the world, what's the most amazing thing as believers is we often equate ourselves with the world, instead of looking for ourselves in Christ. Your time frame is not the world's time frame. People get afraid as if they're one with the world. That's why there will be darkness upon the world, gross darkness upon the people but My glory - but there's gonna be something happening different in you than you're gonna see happening in the world.
When judgment comes, it pours out according to each man's work. Judgment will come and hit one house different than they hit another house. One house will prosper or flourish, another house will fall. Because the judgment must be just. He will not punish the righteous with the wicked. For the faithful He says, "Well done." For the unfaithful He says, "Depart from Me."
He wants to establish His Name in you. The goodness of God, He wants to establish that, His essence in your life.
WATCH HIM WORK!
Sometimes, you have to be willing to forsake all, to take all. It's hard for you to follow God when you're constantly concerned with saving yourself. There are so many people who get out the fire, who try to force themselves out of the fire, before the fire has completed its work, before the fire has weighed you. Because what the fire of God would do is it will weigh you out. Are you looking for an escape route? Or will you stay? Will you hinge it all on My Word? Or will you seek to save yourself? And while at times it's very tempting, and more convenient to want to leave, the problem becomes when the Word becomes your life. I didn't like it there, I wanted to run, but the problem I had is where else would I go. Some people's biggest problem is they got other places to go. Your biggest problem is that you got too many options. I wanted to run so far from the fire, the humiliation, the rejection, the heartbreak, but there was no confirming Word to say "Okay, go!" The only Word that kept coming was "Trust Me." And it was like, "Lord, this is destroying me." It's shattering everything that I thought about myself, every image I thought about myself - how anointed I thought I was, how important I thought of it, it was crucifying all that stuff. I was left reduced to nothing. And then the Lord said, "Now, I can use you. Because it ain't about you. Now I can use you because the fire has weighed you out." What the fire showed is not how perfect I was, the fire revealed was that my life hinged on the Word.
The options have been your limitations. As long as you got options, you will never put your full trust on God. The other options have hindered them, from touching the miraculous, from touching the hand of God.
The Lord says, "Don't you dare be ashamed of My goodness. Put it on and wear it." Because God's goodness doesn't testify of you. It testifies of Him.
